Steve McCutcheon (born 15 January 1972), professionally known as Steve Mac, is a British musician, songwriter, and record producer. He has contributed to 30 UK No. 1 singles to date. That include four number-one singles in the UK Singles Chart from the Irish band Westlife which he co-written and produced ("Swear It Again", "Flying Without Wings", "Queen of My Heart", and "World of Our Own"), another five number-one singles that he co-produced ("Against all Odds", "Uptown Girl", "Unbreakable", "Mandy", "You Raise Me Up"), produced top 5 singles ("Bop Bop Baby", "Tonight/Miss You Nights", "Hey Whatever", "Home"), and the biggest selling original single of the band which he co-written and produced "What Makes a Man". He revealed he made his first millions with Westlife.Winner of the 2018 Brit Award for British Producer of the Year, Steve Mac is one of the UK’s most successful music producers and songwriters, with worldwide sales of over 200 million during his career, including Top 10 singles for Samantha Mumba, Liam Payne, and Rita Ora.
